Turn an old blouse or shirt into a stylish Wine Bag.Materials: One old blouse, sewing machine, scissors, needle & thread, decorative ribbon, one round piece of cardboard (optional).
Directions: Turn blouse inside out. Measure 11 ½” from cuff sew a straight line across sleeve. Cut off beyond stitching(see photo below). Turn right side out. You now have a wine bag. Put cardboard circle in bottom of bag for stability. Tie cuff with ribbon or cording, or raffia. You may add flowers or tags if you choose. The design of the bag is limited by the style of the blouse, or shirt. This bag was a 50 cent thrift store special. I liked the silky cuff with the plain stretch jersey.
